Not long ago, they were mentored by a powerful, old fire mage who fell ill one night and passed not too long after, leaving a massive castle to this one small browbird. They always keep the place well lit and warm, and offer a place to stay for any weary or injured travelers (or just about anyone for that matter) to continue the kind spirit their teacher had. Oh, and did I mention the parties? The old mage loved holding huge gatherings all the time, and why not keep up the trend. It definitely keeps the place quite lively, which this browbird is honestly quite thankful for!

They are quite timid and quiet, though, and tend to keep to themself otherwise. A rare sight to those who live nearby the candlenight castle, but never an unwanted one.

Frostfall is the name given to the part of the cycle of the Celestial Seas where frost magic is at its peak on this side of the Astral Sea. While it is summer in parts of some worlds, for the most part things in many places are growing slightly colder, and of course Centuary is at the center of it all... Many of its most populated districts being coated in a soft blanket of snow.

Every species and culture has its own takes on winter-esque holidays, but universally, Frostfall is celebrated in some form. Giving gifts is common, as is enjoying some of the season's finest treats, and decorating places with sparkly materials, candles, and glowing lights. Frostfall means something different to each person who celebrates it, and there are many takes and traditions associated with the holiday! What frostfall is is up to you!
