This is gravesinger, a special halloween browbird!! originally, i wanted to keep him so badly, but i was planning to auction him off as a special halloween design. however he was snatched up from me before i was even halfway done. he now has a lovely home with snappledragons! shes just too fast <:3c

originally there were gonna be more halloween birds but i ran short on time due to computer troubles + other reasons and in the end i decided to pour all my remaining effort into this design. this is probably the largest adopt i've done to date LOL... and he certainly was a lot of fun.
there will be more special birbs when it gets closer to the end of the year, i already have ideas in mind.

i'd still like to post his rarities/info though, just because i completely disregarded the trait guides when making this and he's kind of stupidly rare

Gravesinger

-Gravesinger was a powerful knight browbird who's body and soul were locked away for a few hundred years after he fell in a great battle. Unlike most revenants, he was resurrected using his original soul since it was sealed within the eye stone on the blade impaled through his chest when he was killed, so he still has most of his memories from when he was alive! when he started walkin around he probably has a bit of culture shock though since he had been dead such a long time.
- He fights using mainly the sword that sticks through his chest (it is removable! there is a hole in his chest for it) he also uses really powerful blood magic spells that allow him to heal himself using the blood of his enemies, along with destroying them from the inside if he can first manage to wound them. he can also utilize his own blood?? hardening or changing its shape at will. (blood spikes!!!) definitely not a fun guy to fight!!!
- his spiral eye crest can also act as a working eye, so he can see with it as well if he chooses
- he wears a bone mask and cape because he's cool and mysterious.
- he has all thsoe scars and cuts from when he was alive since he would use his own blood to fight. he's kind of gross???
- you can't see it but he's got a nice ass probably (as stated by sneps)

A tad bit of messy rev info:
- Revenant is the name given to a special kind of powerful reanimated corpses of fallen browbirds who are brought back to life using powerful magic.
- They are commonly hated and feared across the galaxy, like most undead, they are not be permitted entry into most cities! browbird towns and cities will usually have guards or members of the palatine attack revs on sight!
- They cannot die unless the one who resurrects them destroys them, or unless very special conditions are met, and most injuries they sustain after being resurrected will regenerate, the worse the injury the longer it takes for them to heal. However, any injuries they received before being resurrected will not heal, therefore they can still have scars and such if they were hurt before dying. (IE: gravesinger's weird chest hole for his sword will not heal)
- Only void ancients, a very scarce and powerful type of browbird, are able to create revenants.
- revs are much more powerful than any normal browbird, and are easily able to rival an ancient when it comes to magical strength
- most revenants are brought back with the body of a strong fallen warrior, and the soul of a mage giving them both high physical and magical strength. They don't have any memories of either soul's life when this is the case. (gravesinger is different however!)
- there's like this big story behind revs they're super lore heavy but i won't post all that here LOL if u have any questions you can ask!!
